Another successful Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride! Tod made the fundraising-top-20-list out of 500+ riders in New York City. New York City came in 2nd after Mexico City in fundraising out of 100+ DGR cities around the world. We greatly appreciate the continued support for our efforts to raise funds and awareness for mens health issues

This year’s ride felt like a throwback to the 2016 ride. Due to covid protocols, the official event was cancelled. In it’s place we were encouraged to ride “solo” or in much smaller groups. Turned out to be a much more organic, chilled experience with the riders taking on the responsibility of law and order. All in all, a great day for rider camaraderie and fundraising for mens suicide and prostate cancer prevention.
Early morning start. BBQ Lunch near Cold Spring. Great weather. Great group of riders.

Coffee is starting to kick in
Fixing problems. You should’ve seen the nail we pulled out of his tire. Luckily, it was not a puncture.
Time to get out of town

Pit stop at 7 lakes drive
A motley crew, no doubt.
A little bit of Texas in NY
Nice line up
On a perfectly beautiful Sunday, this charity ride through the five boroughs was a massive success; lots of funds raised and it was a lot of fun. In New York City, 810 riders raised 196K. Globally, 114K riders in over 600 cities, raised nearly 6million dollars for mens health charities..incredible. See you next year, New York :-)

Few years ago...I sold my Harley to a FDNY firefighter named Mark who was a first responder at ground zero, on September 11th. I dropped off the bike to him at his station in midtown. I spent about two hours with Mark that day, sharing our experiences living through that terrible tragedy. I saw a lot of photos, and memorabilia from that day and Mark told me some amazing stories. FDNY lost 343 brave souls that day. Respect to Mark and all of New York City's bravest. We can never thank you enough for your sacrifice. Support the ongoing struggle of the first responders and their families for justice -Tod
In our efforts to raise as much money as we could for the charity ride, I took to social media. This campaign was part of my relentless 2 month effort to get friends to sponsor me as a rider in the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride by making donations. My apologies to everyone for being such a pain in the ass ;-)
Not a bad day at the office. It was a challenging ride but the comradery and the cause made it worth while. We started at the Seaport and rode through Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn and ended up back at The Seaport; over 1000 riders! My team raised $53.4k. All of NYC raised $143.9k. Riders globally raised $4.5 million and counting. All for the Movember Foundation, to support mens health issues like suicide prevention and prostate cancer prevention and cure; the statistics are mind boggling. Ride safe everyone.
